A heat exchanger is a highly efficient thermal transfer device used for heating and cooling applications across a wide range of process industries. It enables heat to be transferred between two fluids without direct contact or mixing, helping to maintain the purity and integrity of each medium.
Heat exchangers are highly versatile and can be used to heat or cool air, liquids and gases safely and efficiently, while eliminating the risk of cross-contamination.
New Field heat exchangers are engineered for durability, efficiency and precision. Manufactured using high-quality materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, naval brass, aluminium, Monel and other specialist alloys, they are designed to perform reliably in demanding operating environments while maintaining excellent thermal performance.
A key focus of our construction process is one of the most critical elements of heat exchanger integrity: the tube-to-tubesheet joint. This connection plays a vital role in ensuring long-term reliability, leak prevention and overall equipment performance.
We design and manufacture shell and tube heat exchangers in carbon steel, stainless steel, copper and copper alloys for a wide range of industries, including chemical, petrochemical, fertiliser, power generation, food processing and other process applications.
Every project is supported by a stringent quality assurance plan to meet industrial requirements and government specifications, with full compliance to ASME Section VIII, TEMA classes and HEI standards. By adhering to recognised trade association standards, ASME code requirements and mutually agreed project specifications, New Field ensures the highest standards in material selection, fabrication quality and tube-to-tubesheet joint design.
Our facility is equipped with an advanced, electronically controlled, high-precision German tube expander, enabling us to deliver exceptional accuracy, consistency and performance across every heat exchanger we manufacture.
New Field designs and manufactures a comprehensive range of heat exchanger configurations to meet different process requirements, operating conditions and maintenance needs.
Available configurations include fixed tubesheet, floating head, U-tube, double pipe and kettle type heat exchangers.

Power plants rely on a wide range of heat exchangers to transfer heat efficiently between different process fluids. The selection of each heat exchanger configuration is determined by the specific thermal and hydraulic requirements of the application.
New Field heat exchangers are designed using advanced engineering tools, including Heat Transfer Research Institute (HTRI) programmes, HTFS and our own in-house design software. Each unit is engineered and manufactured in accordance with applicable pressure equipment guidelines and internationally recognised standards, including PED, API, ASME and TEMA.
Every component is carefully designed to achieve a high heat transfer coefficient while maintaining the lowest practical pressure drop. Adequate flow areas are maintained throughout the heat exchanger to minimise the risks associated with flow-induced vibration, erosion and operational instability.
New Field specialises in heat exchangers for complex and non-standard applications, including high-temperature, high-pressure and high-cyclic service conditions, as well as systems involving unusual fluid properties and specialist materials. With extensive experience in the design, fabrication, operation and troubleshooting of heat transfer equipment, New Field engineers deliver proven yet innovative solutions that meet demanding requirements for performance, reliability and structural integrity.
Our capabilities extend to complex thermal, hydraulic and mechanical designs that go beyond conventional engineering approaches.
New Field designs, manufactures, inspects and tests high-quality pressure vessels, tanks, flash vessels, separators and other fabricated equipment in accordance with client requirements.
We manufacture vessels and fabricated items using a wide range of materials, including carbon steel with NACE, HIC and SSC requirements, stainless steel, Monel, SS 904L, cupro-nickel, admiralty brass, duplex stainless steel, Inconel 600, Incoloy 800, Hastelloy B and C, titanium, carbon steel with Teflon lining, graphite, FRP and carbon steel with rubber lining.
All fabricated equipment is subject to stringent inspection and testing procedures from material receipt through to final dispatch. This includes stage-wise inspection, non-destructive testing, leak testing, final inspection, painting inspection, packing inspection and marking inspection.
As a long-standing partner to leading global power plant constructors and suppliers, New Field offers comprehensive expertise in the design and manufacture of critical power plant components.
Our equipment is used in conventional coal-fired, nuclear and gas-fired power plants, as well as in solar thermal plants and facilities powered by renewable energy resources. This broad experience enables us to deliver reliable, efficient and application-specific solutions for demanding power generation environments.
